Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Outreach

East Taylorsville Baptist Church is seeking a God called man who feels led to serve as our Associate Pastor. We are prayerfully searching for a servant-leader with a heart for ministry, strong biblical grounding, and a passion for uplifting the body of Christ. This is a significant opportunity to work alongside our Senior Pastor and leadership team to help shape the future of our church and its outreach.

Position Overview: The Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Outreach will work closely with the Senior Pastor and leadership team to support and lead various ministry areas of the church. This role is an excellent opportunity for a leader who is grounded in biblical teaching, loves serving others, and is eager to equip future leaders and grow the church's impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Player: Collaborate with the Senior Pastor, staff, and volunteers to create a unified church vision and mission.
• True Biblical Elder: Model Christlike leadership and demonstrate spiritual maturity, biblical knowledge, and integrity in all areas of ministry.
• Ministry Oversight: Oversee Sunday school ministry, organize outreach events, and train and develop future leaders to carry the vision of the church.
• Bible Study Groups: Facilitate and lead bible study gatherings to foster discipleship, community, and spiritual growth.
• Mission-Minded Leadership: Coordinate and facilitate church groups, emphasizing mission work and outreach opportunities locally and globally.
• Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral care as needed through preaching and teaching in the pulpit, hospital visits, counseling, weddings, and funerals, offering support and guidance to individuals and families in need.
