Status: Bi-Vocational (Part-Time)
Overview: Crestwood Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation seeking a committed bi-vocational pastor who will partner with the church in fulfilling the Great Commission and strengthening the local community. The church is prayerfully seeking an individual with a servant’s heart, sound biblical teaching, and a desire to share the Gospel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Proficiency in English and Spanish or another language, or willingness to attend language-learning classes (tuition assistance may be discussed).
- Calling: A commitment to bi-vocational ministry.
- Agreement: Alignment with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
- Skills: Strong communication and relational skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers.
- Outreach: A heart for community outreach and discipleship.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Preaching and teaching sound biblical messages.
- Leading worship services and/or Bible studies.
- Shepherding members through pastoral care, visitation, and prayer.
- Supporting or leading ministries such as youth, children, outreach, or worship (depending on the role).
- Working alongside church leadership to develop and implement ministry goals.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: Flexible schedule designed to accommodate bi-vocational work.
- Compensation: Part-time salary/stipend based on experience and church budget.
