Arrowwood Baptist Church of Chesnee, SC, is seeking a Senior Pastor who meets the biblical qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The Senior Pastor is to provide the church family a sense of stability with strong leadership as he preaches God’s Word faithfully. He is to provide an example while teaming with staff, deacons, and volunteers to provide pastoral care through prayer, visitation, and counseling.
Arrowwood’s mission is to “Love God, Know Him, Share Him.” Thus, the Senior Pastor needs to be mission minded in reaching the world, while evangelistic in reaching the local community. The Senior Pastor will need to respect the tradition of this Southern Baptist Church, while providing guidance in attempting new things for God’s glory.
Qualifications:
- Ordained minister within the Southern Baptist Convention
- Seminary degree
- Commitment to Southern Baptist Doctrine
- Gifted in biblical preaching and teaching
- Able to lead and inspire unity and growth through spiritual and social interaction with all members of the congregation
