Job Title: Children and Youth Ministry Coordinator – Part-Time Position
Swift Creek Baptist Church, a mission-focused Southern Baptist congregation located in the heart of Raleigh, NC, is prayerfully seeking to expand its ministry team with the addition of a dedicated Part-Time Children and Youth Coordinator (approximately 15 to 20 hours per week). This vital role is designed for someone who possesses a deep love for Christ and a passionate commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of our children and youth, as well as their families. As a small yet multigenerational church, we value community and strive to foster meaningful connections among our members. We are seeking an individual who shares our vision of serving the next generation and fostering a supportive environment that promotes faith, fellowship, and service. Responsibilities and Duties include:
?Working with and under the leadership of the pastor and the youth committee.
?Will be responsible for leading, developing, and nurturing a strong Christian foundation for our children's and youth's ministry
?Develop and maintain a yearly calendar of youth activities, events, retreats, and camps.
?He or she will develop relationships with youth and parents by providing support and guidance and sharing faith lovingly.
?Will ensure the appropriate integration of the total Children and Youth Program into the overall discipleship program of the Church.
While an associate or bachelor’s degree in seminary is preferred, it is not a requirement. However, obtaining such a degree offers significant advantages for individuals pursuing spiritual leadership and future roles within the Christian ministry. The church community wholeheartedly endorses and supports ongoing education and training, recognizing the valuable contributions these experiences make to personal growth and the church's overall mission.
