We are looking for an ordained bi-vocational minister. Being bi-vocational, the pastor will need to be able to supplement his income.We are an older congregation seeking to grow by welcoming multigenerational families. We are located in the water-front town of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. We are affiliated with the SBC and the Chowan Baptist Association. We are associated with CBF. We believe in the sanctity of marriage between one biological male and one biological female. We have a history of men and women serving in leadership roles. We affirm both men and women as deacons.
The seasoned pastor must hold an accredited theological or Divinity school degree. We need a Christ centered, prayer driven, Bible based preacher willing to lead our congregation by example.
