Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Pastor. The Pastor will be responsible to ALMIGHTY GOD and under him to the Church.
The Pastor shall be a Born again Christian with a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
His charge shall be to proclaim the Word of God, teach the Biblical revelation, seek to win the lost and train the membership to do the same. He will provide leadership in developing worship experiences, work with the leadership in seeking to provide every possible opportunity for growth toward Christian maturity for all members, provide pastoral care ministries for everyone in the membership, provide administrative leadership in as many areas of Church life as possible, and act as administrator of paid staff. Duties to include, but not limited to leading Bible Study, visiting the sick & shut-ins and supporting potential new members.
The Pastor shall participate in and lead the Church towards participation in the mission programs of the Southern Baptist Convention and the NC Baptist Convention OR the Triangle East Baptist Association. The Pastor shall have a working knowledge of Southern Baptist policy and organization.
The Pastor shall be a graduate of an accredited college/university, and/or a graduate of an evangelical seminary or actively pursuing evangelical seminary degree. Salary and Benefits are negotiable.
