Music Minister

About Us:

Bunn Baptist Church is a growing congregation in the heart of Bunn. It's our mission to be Pursuing God through His Word, Connecting with our community through service, and Demonstrating a love that leads people into the Family of Christ. We are seeking a Music Minister whose life and worship ministry align with what God is already accomplishg in Bunn through His Church.  

Position Overview:
The Music Minister will lead and develop our worship ministry, fostering an atmosphere of vibrant, Christ-centered worship. This person will work closely with the pastor to create services that reflect our mission and vision. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the congregation in worship during Sunday services, special events, and seasonal services.

• Oversee the planning and preparation of music for worship services, ensuring it aligns with the season of discipleship the church is in.

• Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to aid in worship, including musicians, singers, and tech support.

• Foster a spirit of unity, teamwork, and service within the worship ministry.

Qualifications:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to growing in faith.

• Experience in leading worship in a church setting

• Proficiency with worship technology (sound systems, media presentation, etc.) and ability to train others in its use.

• Communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team 

• A heart for serving others and a passion for helping people encounter Christ through music.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a rural church setting
