First Baptist Church of Boiling Spring Lakes (FBC BSL), NC, seeks a full-time Senior Pastor. Boiling Spring Lakes is a community of 6,000, located in southeastern North Carolina, close to the beaches of Oak Island and the old seaport town of Southport. We are also a short drive from the metro areas of Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC.
Our new Pastor will work with the appropriate church committees and the congregation as a whole to grow our presence in the community and add substantially to our membership. The church is blessed with a 300-seat sanctuary and a Fellowship Hall for 100 people of a growing congregation.
Applicants for the Senior Pastor position should have at least five years’ Pastoral experience, degree preferred but not required and be prepared to live within a reasonable distance of the church. The Senior Pastor is responsible to the church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as an effective Bible teacher and preacher of well-prepared sermons, to teach the Biblical revelation, to engage in pastoral care ministries to include being a skilled counselor available to assist with personal and spiritual problems, as well as a visionary with a well-developed perspective on the future of First Baptist Church of Boiling Spring Lakes.
