Job Posting: Minister of Youth (Full or Part-Time)

Antioch Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Minister of Youth to join our growing church family. Located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina, Antioch is a vibrant and multigenerational congregation with strong ministries for children, youth, and recreation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about discipling students and helping them grow in their walk with Christ.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the youth ministry (Grades 6–12), providing weekly teaching, discipleship, and outreach opportunities.
- Build relationships with students and families, creating an environment where young people feel known, valued, and challenged to grow.
- Organize youth events, retreats, mission opportunities, and involvement in the broader life of the church.
- Equip and support volunteer leaders to serve effectively in the youth ministry.
Additional Responsibilities:
Depending on the candidate’s spiritual gifts and passions, additional responsibilities may include:
- Teaching or preaching opportunities
- Worship leadership
- Missions and outreach coordination
- Recreation ministry support
- Digital/media ministry
- Administrative or pastoral care support

Qualifications:
- A clear and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- A calling to minister to youth and their families
- Strong teaching, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in youth ministry is preferred, but not required
- A heart for service, flexibility, and a desire to be part of a team-oriented staff
