Living Hope Community Church in Jacksonville, NC is looking for a Part-Time worship leader to help with the weekly music planning for worship service.
Qualifications: Passion to see others worship God. Experience or training in directing worship teams and musicians. A good grasp of music fundamentals with the ability to help others understand music. Ability to recognize theologically grounded music that emphasizes and lends itself to congregational singing. A team player who works well with others and supports the overall mission and vision of the church.
Primary Responsibilities: Organize and lead the church's worship and music ministry for all ages. Plan Sunday morning worship with the Pastor. Prepare Power Points/Pro Presenter slides for congregational worship. Lead congregational worship. Be responsible for music/worship planning for special events throughout the year (Easter presentation, Christmas Eve, etc). Organize and work with volunteers for special music: schedule and direct weekly rehearsals. Recruit new members for the music ministry. Coordinate with Audio Visual ministry.
Compensation: Dependent on experience and qualifications.
