Senior Pastor

About Us: Meansville Baptist Church is prayerfully searching for a full-time pastor to lead our congregation in fulfilling our mission: following Jesus, obeying the Great Commission, and living the Great Commandments to make His name great in Meansville, in Georgia, across North America, and to the ends of the earth. As a working church, we continue our ministry while seeking God's guidance for our next pastor.

Qualifications:

• Biblical Qualifications: The candidate must meet the biblical standards of a pastor as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Acts 20:28-30, Titus 1:9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.
• Doctrinal Alignment: Full agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Preaching and Teaching: Commitment to faithfully preach and teach the whole counsel of God, grounded in scriptures such as 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, 2 Timothy 4:1-5, and Titus 1:1-4.
• Ministry Focus: A passionate commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and fulfilling the Great Commission.

Requirements:

• This is a full-time senior pastor position.
• A God-given call to ministry.
• A master's degree or higher in theology (preferred).
• Experience with Rural Communities: Demonstrated experience and understanding of rural community dynamics and challenges.
