Austin Grove Baptist Church of Marshville, NC, is prayerfully seeking the man God has called to fill the position of full-time Senior Pastor. We are a conservative Southern Baptist Church situated in rural Union County, who supports the 2000 Bible Faith and Message with an average Sunday worship attendance of 90-100 persons. We are searching for a Pastor / Teacher who delivers Bible-based sermons and lessons and provides pastoral care to church members (including hospital visits and support for homebound individuals). He must also have a heart for evangelism and a desire to provide spiritual counseling and development.
The Senior Pastor must fulfill the Biblical qualifications and roles of a Shepherd / Pastor / Overseer as described in 1st Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1st Peter 5:1-4, and Ephesians 4:1-6.
Qualifications:
- Ordained and licensed as a Baptist Minister
- Previous experience as a Senior Pastor
- Graduate of an accredited Bible College or Seminary at a minimum
