We are prayerfully seeking a Pastor to serve as the spiritual leader of our congregation. The Pastor will faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and lead the church in Christ-centered worship, evangelism and outreach, discipleship, missions, fellowship, and stewardship. Above all else, the Pastor is called to Lead the Church and Preach the Word of God.
The Candidate must display all character qualities of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 which are: above reproach, husband of one wife, temperate, self controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family in a manner worthy of full respect.
Must give top priority to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all indivduals. Must have a love for people that flows from a love for God. Must have a thorough and deep understanding of the Bible.
Must serve as a role model to the congregation of what it means to live a Christian life by displaying the character, integrity, love, leadership, spiritual maturity, and servant's heart that this position demands. Must be able to lead people to Christ. Must be able to teach and preach, both one-on one and before a group or the congregation, providing spiritual, pastoral outreach, administrative and servant leadership. Must adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
