Associate Pastor of Music and Youth

First Baptist Church of Clyde is searching for a full time Associate Pastor of music and youth. Interested candidates should email a resume and letter of interest to Lead Pastor Byron Burnette at byronburnette@gmail.com. 

Responsibilities: 

• This position would be responsible for all worship aspects of our church. Planning worship services and special services as needed, creating all audio visual presentations, overseeing the media team, scheduling special music, and leading our worship team. This person must be willing to lead a choir and band. 
• This position would be responsible for all aspects of the student ministry. This position would be directly responsible for middle school and high school ministry and have general oversight of children's ministry (K-5th). 
• This position would have some custodial responsibilities as well. To be determined by the lead pastor. 
• All responsibilities generally associated with the office of pastor will be required. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preaching and teaching the word of God when needed, prayer, visiting, performing special services as needed, serving as a positive role model in the church and community, and other duties as assigned by the lead pastor. 

Qualifications: 

• This person must be a born again believer who has been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
• This person must feel a call to serve in the local church in a pastoral capacity. 
• This person must be ordained OR possess the ability to be ordained.
• This person must love to worship, love the word of God, and love the church.
