Potecasi Baptist Church is seeking a faithful, biblical, servant, teacher and leader to shepherd God's flock (Acts 20:28) here in rural Northampton County NC. Pastor must meet biblical qualifications found in the scriptures (1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9) that include high moral character, family leadership, ability to teach and doctrinal soundness.
Potecasi just celebrated its 250th anniversary last year and is eager to find the next pastor that God has chosen (Jeremiah 3:15) to continue our mission of making disciples and delivering the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our small community and to the world we live in (Matthew 28:19-20).
Adequate salary for area (Deuteronomy 25:4) and parsonage available. Emphasis is desired on training up our children (Proverbs 22:6) for they are our next generation and ministering to the elderly (Isaiah 46:4) with a private rest home across the road in need of spiritual care.
