Youth Pastor

Qualifications: 1 Timothy 3:1-8; Titus 1-9

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee Middle and Highschool youth assuring the youth maintain a balanced program of spiritual, physical, and social growth. 
• Lead Youth Sunday School classes and Youth Bible Study each week. 
• Oversee the youth ministry's budget and utilize it to focus on building the youth program.
• Support youth as needed outside of church activities (home visits, school events, hospital visits, etc). 
• Coordinate with other groups in the church to create a well-planned youth event calendar; keep the youth apprised of upcoming conferences, camps and community events; plan accordingly for regular involvement in all church activities.
• Foster open communication with parents and youth regarding curriculum, activities and other important issues related to youth development and culture.
• Continue spiritual growth and development through conferences, reading, and community engagement.
