First Baptist Church of Red Springs, NC is prayerfully searching for a Senior Pastor who will Lead us in Biblical truth and exercise shepherd-like leadership. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, FBCRS desires to worship God, share the gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple believers, and minister to the spiritual, social, and physical need of all people. We believe the man God calls as our next Pastor should possess strengths in the following key areas: expository preaching and teaching of scripture, applying scripture to modern issues facing the church, responding to the needs of the congregation, visionary approach to local missions, providing leadership to the staff, committees, and various groups within the church. We welcome a visionary leader who inspires young and old to follow Jesus with vigor and equips them to share the gospel. The candidate should hold ministry preparation credentials from an accredited seminary or divinity school or be within one semester of completion.
