Kinza Memorial Baptist Church is located thirty miles east of Charlotte. Kinza is seeking a male senior pastor with some congregational experience and a graduate of seminary or bible college. The church does not have an age preference and is open to having a bi-vocational applicant. Kinza has an average weekly attendance of 80 individuals within our morning worship service. Kinza Memorial has a heart for missions. We are involved with state, local, and international missions. We desire a servant leader to support men and women in leadership positions.
We can provide a parsonage for our pastor. Any financial compensation will be discussed with the deacons and finance committee before being voted on by the church membership.
The purpose of the pastor is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the biblical revelation, to engage in pastoral care ministries, and to provide spiritual oversight in the church. He is, in the biblical sense, the shepherd of the church flock to whom he serves. His leadership and direction is towards the faithful following of Jesus Christ and he should faithfully obey the will of Christ, the chief Shepherd, and thus set an example worthy of imitation. He is called by God to equip God's people for works of service.
