About Dover Baptist Church
Dover Baptist Church is a loving, community-focused, Southern Baptist church in the area of Shelby, NC, that is poised to grow substantially in the coming years. With a rich history of ministry to the community for over a century, Dover Baptist Church is excited to welcome a new pastor to lead this congregation, along with the part-time staff and volunteers, to impact our community by “serving our Savior by worshipping freely, growing deeply & loving completely.”
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in pastoral ministry (exceptions for exceptional ability in a similar role for less time)
- Education: Seminary or divinity school degree is a plus; some seminary or Bible college training is expected
Compensation
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and education, while remaining in line with the budget of the church and the bi-vocational nature of this position.
