Associate Pastor of Students

Rocky Hill Baptist Church is a prayerful, generous, compassionate, and mission-focused congregation seeking a partner in Christ-centered growth. RHBC is looking for a biblically qualified Associate Pastor of Students who is called to shepherd the next generation by leading the teaching and discipleship ministry for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. This pastor will also work alongside the Lead Pastor to care for and minister to the broader church family. The Associate Pastor of Students will equip and lead volunteer teams, partner with parents, and foster Christ-centered environments where children and students come to know Jesus, grow as disciples, and live on mission.

Qualifications

• Biblically qualified: Meets the character and leadership qualifications for pastors/elders described in Scripture (e.g., 1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Peter 5:1–4).
• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a life marked by spiritual maturity, integrity, and humility.
• Wholehearted alignment with Rocky Hill Baptist Church’s statement of faith and commitment to Baptist convictions and values.
• Education: Some Theological training preferred but not required.

Position Details

• Status: Full-time (preferred) / Part-time (considered)
• Reports to: Lead Pastor and leadership.
• Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience and education.
